Bunnie Hajek/NJMCA Association Award

This award is presented to those individuals whose efforts and contributions related to the profession of mosquito control extend beyond expectations of the normal performance of their duties, having an impact beyond the boundaries of their individual agency and benefiting the mosquito control community as a whole.

As the NJMCA Association Award:

Guidelines established & printed in 1981 Proceedings: "This award is given to those whose efforts and contributions extend beyond that which is expected. Association members should submit names of candidates and pertinent information to the Awards Committee. Presentation of this award depends on unanimous action of this committee." February 1976: Awards Committee met to discuss the 1st presentation of Association Award*

Achievement Award

This recognition is given to mosquito control workers in NJ, who have devoted at least 12 years to mosquito control and are about to retire. The Awards Committee will annually canvas the county mosquito control agencies for qualified candidates.

Outstanding Mosquito Worker Award New!

This is an award that is established to recognize the workers who are most often unseen, doing their daily work but going above and beyond what is expected. This is to promote and reward professionalism within the mosquito control community and recognize workers' efforts in a statewide forum.
